We developed a comprehensive solution for the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, part of the Government of Argentina. It is a hybrid application that manages landfill reports across the Argentine Nation.
Informar App Project Information
The goal of the app is to detect and significantly reduce the number of landfills present in the country, which have a negative environmental impact. Through an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, the responsible parties can report these sites to facilitate their eventual removal.
Web Application
The system includes user authentication, transactional emails, reports exportation and a role-based system. Administrators manage it through a web application accessed via web browsers, while users who initiate reports do so from their mobile phones using a mobile application. Users can report landfills located anywhere in the country by taking a photo of the site and pinpointing its exact location using a virtual map that provides specific coordinates. When a new landfill is reported, automatic email notifications are sent to the responsible jurisdictional authorities based on the site's location. The design was provided by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Argentine Republic. The app is for private use. Only members of government entity work teams are authorized to access it. to streamline and automate the process. The system includes a robust, multifunctional back end capable of managing large-scale online stores.
